The point of sale forsmoke and vape shops.
Age checks the system enforces, a counter that keeps up with the queue, every flavour and strength counted, and deals that apply themselves — on the devices you already have.
Built around how your counter works
A lot of small items, a lot of look-alike variants, regulars who know what they want, and a rule you cannot afford to miss.
An age check you cannot skip
Put 21 on a category and nothing in it can be paid for until the cashier has checked. The server refuses the payment, not just the screen.
Flavours and strengths
One product, with every flavour, strength and size as its own variant — each with its barcode, price and stock.
Mix-and-match deals
Two for $30 across every flavour, buy a device and get coils half price, spend $75 and save $10. They apply by themselves.
A fast counter
Scan anywhere on the screen, hold a cart while a customer decides, split cash and card, and print or text the receipt.
Stock you can trust
Small, valuable items go missing. Every unit that moves is a line in a ledger, and a count shows the difference.
Regulars rewarded
Points on every sale that turn into store credit, and store credit that pays at the till.
Cash-up that adds up
Shifts open with a counted float and close on a blind count, with every pay-out and safe drop recorded.
A manager’s say
Refunds on the spot, pay-outs and returns without a receipt ask for a manager’s PIN at the till.
A store online to match
A dark, bold theme and ready-made looks for the online store, with a date-of-birth check at its checkout.
Set 21 once. It asks every time.
Each business chooses how its tills check: one tap to confirm the ID was checked, or the date of birth typed in so the till works out the age. Under age, the sale stops.
- On a product, or on a category for everything in it
- At the till, in the mobile app and at the online checkout
- The order records that the check was made, how and by whom
- The date of birth is never stored
The deal on the sign is the deal at the till
Set a multi-buy up once and every till applies it, badges the products that take part and tells the cashier when one more item would unlock it.
- Multi-buys across flavours: any two, any three
- Aimed at categories, brands, products or tags, with dates
- The best deal for the customer is chosen for you
- A return refunds what the item really cost
Every flavour, every store
See what is on hand, what is held for open carts and what is free to sell for each variant in each store — and ask another store for stock from the till.
- A low-stock list per store
- Transfers that count in neither store while on the road
- Counts from a phone, scanned with its camera
- Barcode labels for anything that arrives without one
DistrxPos records that an age check was made and refuses the sale without one. It does not read or verify identity documents. The laws on selling tobacco, vape and related products — in a shop or online — differ from place to place, and following them stays your responsibility.

Can it check a customer’s age?
Yes. Give a product or a whole category a minimum age and a sale with it cannot be paid until the age has been checked: the cashier confirms they checked ID, or types the date of birth. The online store asks for a date of birth at checkout.
Can I sell these products in the online store?
The online store asks for a date of birth at checkout for any item with a minimum age. Whether you may sell a product online, and how it has to be delivered, depends on the law where you are and on your card processor — check both first.
How do I set up flavours and strengths?
As options on one product. Every combination becomes a variant with its own SKU, barcode, price and stock, and the till offers a picker when the product is tapped.
Can a deal mix flavours?
Yes. A multi-buy counts any items in its scope — a category, a brand, chosen products or a tag — so “any two for $30” works across flavours.
What hardware do I need?
A browser on a computer, an iPad or a phone. Barcode scanners that type like a keyboard (USB or Bluetooth) work anywhere on the till screen. Receipts, X and Z reports and barcode labels print from the browser, sized for 80 mm receipt printers and label sheets. A second monitor can face the customer.
