Works with the restof your day.
Talk to a customer, send a driver, take a card online, ask an assistant how the week went — without leaving DistrxPos.
Connected where the work happens
Each one shows up as a button on the screen you are already on.
Orbit — messaging
A Message button on every customer and order, and on the till’s customer card. It opens that person in Orbit: their conversations, or “Create in Orbit” when they are new there.
Private Mile — delivery
On a delivery order: Create delivery, with the name, phone and address filled in, and Check delivery for its status, driver and arrival time.
DistrxPay — cards online
Card payments for the online store on a secure checkout page. A card that clears after its order was cancelled is refunded by itself.
AI access
Connect an assistant such as Claude and ask it about sales, low stock, an order or a customer’s history. It only looks, unless you let it keep products, prices and stock up to date.
Your own scripts
Chat widgets, analytics and ad pixels on your online store, and tools you rely on in your back office. Every change to a script is recorded.
CSV and Excel
Whatever else you use, files get data in and out: imports with a preview, and an export on every list.
Customer service and delivery, one click away
Both open as a panel inside the back office. Staff sign in to the panel with their own account there, once per browser — so no password or key for either product is kept here.
- Connecting is pasting one script under Settings
- The buttons only appear while that product is connected
- One panel open at a time, and out of the way until a button opens it
- Never loaded on the customer-facing display
Ask your numbers a question
DistrxPos speaks the Model Context Protocol, so an assistant such as Claude can answer from your real data: this week’s sales, what is running low, where an order is. Paste one address into Claude, approve it on a screen in your back office, and it is connected.
- Read-only unless you choose otherwise: sales, stock, orders, products, customers
- With read + write: add products, change prices, count stock in, create coupons
- It never rings up a sale, refunds or moves money
- It acts as you, with your role’s permissions, and every change is in the activity log
Questions, answered
Anything else? Email us — a human replies.
Do I need Orbit or Private Mile to use the point of sale?
No. DistrxPos works on its own. Each connection is optional and can be switched off again by removing its script.
Are my Orbit or Private Mile passwords stored?
No. Staff sign in inside each panel with their own account there. Only where the panel lives and its options are kept.
Which AI assistants can connect?
Any assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), such as Claude. Most connect by signing in: you add the server address as a connector and approve it in your back office. For the others there are keys. Either can be cut off at any time on the AI access page.
Can an AI assistant change things in my shop?
Only if you say so. A connection is read-only until you choose read + write, and even then it can only do what your own role can. It cannot ring up a sale, refund, cancel an order or change store credit, points or gift cards.
Can I add Google Analytics or an ad pixel to my store?
Yes. Paste the script under Online store → Scripts. You can keep scripts off the checkout and account pages.
Can I take card payments?
At the till, card is one of the ways to pay, alone or split with others. In the online store, cards are taken on a secure checkout page.
Ready to open the till?
The counter, the stockroom and the online shop on one engine — set up with you, and running by the end of the day.
