The till that keeps upwith the queue.
DistrxPos runs in the browser on the computer, iPad or phone already on your counter. Scan anywhere on the screen, hold a cart, split the payment and print — and when the internet drops, it keeps selling.
Ring up a sale. Right here.
A real till with a few things on the shelf. Tap products, watch the offers kick in, take the money and print the receipt — on the same receipt printer your till uses. Nothing is saved or charged.
Stock goes down as you sell, and a product can’t be sold past its last unit. Socks are 3 for 2; a tote is half price with each tee.
The cart is empty
Tap a product to start a sale.
Everything a sale needs, a keystroke away
Built for the person at the counter with a queue in front of them: nothing to click first, nothing to wait for.
Scan anywhere
A barcode scan adds the item wherever the cursor is — no field to click first. Scanners that type like a keyboard, USB or Bluetooth, just work.
Search that keeps up
Find by name, SKU or barcode with ↑, ↓ and Enter. Every result shows its photo, its price and the stock in this store.
Held carts
Park a sale and pick it up on any till. Another till has to ask before taking a cart over, and the take-over is written on the order.
Split payments
Cash, card, store credit, a gift card or any mix of them on one sale, with quick-cash buttons and the change worked out as you type.
Tips, kept apart
Switch tips on and the payment starts with a tip step. A tip is never taxed, earns no points and stays out of your revenue.
Discounts with a reason
A discount on a line for anyone; a price change or a discount on the whole sale for managers — each kept with its reason on the receipt and the invoice.
Receipts
Print on an 80 mm receipt printer, or send the receipt by email or text. Its barcode finds the sale again when something comes back.
Customer display
A second screen facing the customer: every item and saving as it is rung up, the amount to pay, then the change and the points earned.
Look up, mid-sale
Past sales, a customer’s credit and points, a product’s offers and its stock in every other store — without leaving the sale you are in.
Know what should be in the drawer
Each device is named once as a till. A shift opens with a counted float, and every pay-in, pay-out, drop to the safe and no-sale drawer opening is recorded with its reason.
- Close on a blind count: the cashier counts before seeing what was expected
- An X report while the shift is open and a Z report when it closes, sized for 80 mm paper
- Every payment and refund is stamped with the shift it happened in
- A till has to be open to take payments — your choice, per business
Back in a scan, swapped in one step
Scan the receipt’s barcode and the sale is on the screen. Pick what is coming back, choose where the money goes, and the stock returns to the shelf you say.
- Refund to the original payment or to store credit
- Exchange for something else in the same step — the difference is settled either way
- No receipt? Items are valued at today’s price, with a manager’s approval
- A return gives back what each item really cost after offers, and issues a credit note
A manager’s PIN, right at the till
Some things a cashier should not do alone. The till asks for a manager’s PIN on the spot, so nobody has to sign in and out — and it is written down who said yes.
- Pay-outs, refunds on the spot, exchanges, no-receipt returns and stock moves
- Single use, and good for five minutes
- Recorded on the order with the manager who approved it
- Every manager sets their own PIN in their profile
Sells when the internet doesn’t
When the connection drops the till says so and keeps going. It holds a copy of your catalog, prices, offers and tax rates, and prices the cart with the same calculator the server uses.
- Cash and “other” payments while offline, on the till’s own receipt numbers
- Sales send themselves when the connection is back — once each, dated when they were sold
- Cards, coupons, store credit, gift cards and returns wait for the connection
- Keep the till’s page open: it cannot be reloaded without a connection
Questions, answered

What hardware do I need?
A browser on a computer, an iPad or a phone. Barcode scanners that type like a keyboard (USB or Bluetooth) work anywhere on the till screen. Receipts, X and Z reports and barcode labels print from the browser, sized for 80 mm receipt printers and label sheets. A second monitor can face the customer.
Does it work on an iPad or a phone?
Yes. The till is laid out for a desktop, an iPad in either orientation and a phone, where the cart is a sheet at the bottom of the screen. There is also a mobile app for iPhone, iPad and Android with the same till, using the camera as its scanner.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The till in the browser says “Offline” and keeps selling for cash, using its saved copy of your catalog, prices, offers and tax rates. Each sale gets the till’s own receipt number and is sent by itself when the connection returns. Cards, coupons, store credit, gift cards and returns wait for the connection.
Which payments can I take at the till?
Cash, card, store credit, gift cards and any mix of them on one sale, with tips if you switch them on.
Can I run more than one till?
Yes. Every device is its own till with its own shifts and cash counts, in the store you put it in. A cart held on one till can be picked up on another.
Ready to open the till?
The counter, the stockroom and the online shop on one engine — set up with you, and running by the end of the day.
